Why did you choose to join this political party, what are your motivations:
I chose to be an activist in the political party “Christian Convention for Change”, CCC/RDC, because that is where I found my passion for politics satisfied: the ideological bases of this party and the vision of its moral authority met me at the right time; they have greatly fascinated and convinced me.
has. Indeed, in 2015, I had the great satisfaction of meeting in Goma a group of young visionaries and political enthusiasts like me who were in the process of creating a political party called “Christian Convention for Change”, CCC/RDC .
b. Their great motivation to change the socio-political situation of the Democratic Republic of Congo, which had been degraded for decades, their independence from a political system that I already considered rotten and disgusting, fed by political clientelism and kleptomania, their heroic passion for the Congo, their abnegation, their faith in ''change'' that many of our compatriots have lost, this is the type of fight I expected. My goal: Make this Congo GREAT and live there as a GREAT and RESPECTFUL people.
vs. Since that time, I have been active in CCC/DRC as a major executive and am committed to helping the initiator of the party to bring our ideals of change to the highest summit in the country.
What are your personal reasons for being a politician (and not an athlete or a businessman):
My personal reasons for being political can be summed up in these simple but very significant words for me: “My passion for the Congo”.
Indeed, it was from a young age that I felt attracted by the political history of this impressive homeland, "Zaire", at the time. During my life as a young student and, later, as an intellectual, my mind was fed more by the fate of ''my great country'' (which I have always sought to enhance by breaking into the circle of decision-making politics, knowing that in the DRC it is politics that controls everything, distrusting all the other institutions) rather than engaging in pure and simple business or professional sport, … And besides my professional career d he agent or executive of the State or even my ecclesiastical responsibilities, … have never satisfied me as when I talk about politics.
Already, as a young student at the time, my bachelor's thesis in Philosophy was on "The Superman Creator of F. Nietzsche" whose main objective was to draw a new portrait of the leader responsible for the DRC and for the Africa despite the apparently contradictory context in which I found myself: my “religious and priestly vocation”. Obviously, a fire was burning inside me.
It is also true that until today, no other current topic revolts me as much as when I hear or see the suffering of my people and the spectacular descent into hell of the DRC every day and every hour.
My great esteem for the great heroes of this country, such as Patrice Lumumba, Laurent Désiré Kabila, ... has always led me not only to regret "collective unconsciousness and Congolese betrayal" but also and above all to embody in existing political leaders capable of saving this country but in vain: it is therefore a pity that there is only clientelism and political amateurism. Despite this seemingly impassable mountain, I have always thought that I will be able to help ''change things''; I was only waiting for an opportunity and I dare to believe that this opportunity has already come. With the Christian Convention for Change, it is now possible, provided the Lord opens this door for us.
My experience as a citizen, an intellectual and a political fighter has always convinced me that the evil of this country can only be cured from the top because that is where it comes from. And besides, I have never forgotten this famous sentence of the esteemed ex-Prime Minister ANTOINE GISENGA during an address to parliament after the general elections of 2006: “The fish is starting to rot from the head”.
My political struggle has always consisted in seeking how to ''cut off this rotten Congolese head and replace it with another new, young, healthy one...'' this head is not a person but a locked, dishonest, corrupt political system, kleptomaniac, amateur,… who took his place at the head of the DRC and who disintegrates the Congolese nation. It must be dismantled to make the Congo profitable to all Congolese and honored around the world. These are my profound political reasons: a real ambition which requires the support of all people of good will.
Who do you already work with? Like non-profit organizations, UNHCR or others). Describe your local network:
My local network is not very wide yet. However, apart from the restricted circle that shares my vision, that is to say friends, acquaintances, ... already sensitized, I organize the young people, women, men, ... of my Kyeshero District but also the members of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal movement where I have been active for years and where I enjoy great notoriety given the responsibilities that I exercise there. Besides this community influence, my broad potential base is concentrated more in the territory of RUTSHURU and in the cosmopolitan city of GOMA. It is clear that I still need everyone's support to strengthen and expand my base.
Write a slogan that suits you best:
A GREAT CONGO FOR A GREAT PEOPLE
